Have a Good Shabbos, Everyone....

The sun is going down, its shining through the trees,

Another week's gone by, become a memory,

So throw away your hammer, there's nothing left to do,

Go on home and find the gift that's waiting there for you.

Oh, it's time to say Good Shabbos, 'cause all your work is done,

Gonna spend the day together with the Holy One,

Say a special blessing on a cup that's filled with wine,

Man and his creator it's a very special sign.

Your candles will be burning, they'll fill your home with light,

Singing sings of Shabbos, well into the night,

So throw away your hammer, there's nothing left to do,

Go on home and find the gift that's waiting there for you.

Oh, its time to say Good Shabbos, 'cause all your work is done,

Gonna spend the day together with the Holy One,

Say a special blessing on a cup that's filled with wine,

Man and his creator it's a very special sign.

You can spend time with your family, You'll study and you'll pray,

Why not wait till after Shabbos, all those nails wont run away,

So throw away your hammer, there's nothing left to do,

Go on home and find the gift that's waiting there for you.

Oh, its time to say Good Shabbos, 'cause all your work is done,

Gonna spend the day together with the Holy One,

Say a special blessing on a cup that's filled with wine,

Man and his creator its a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very special sign.

oooh! I love that song! For those of us (OK, I mean you...) that have their tables set on Thursday night- Thanks for the beautiful scenes.

You have SO gotten me in the mood for shabbos...too bad I haven't cooked anything yet!

Have a wonderful (and more peaceful than last) shabbos!

Thanks for your comments on my desk re-do! I just did my daughters dresser in scrapbook paper last week. I'll post it sometime next week! It turned out really cute! I love the idea of modge podge-ing with a map! If I ever have a son I'll have to remember that! Very cute!

ooh, we are so jet lagged, i COULD have set my table last night - but why break with our tradition (which is to randomly select some kid to set the table after candle lighting...and then listen to them complain as i sit on the sofa reading the people and entertainment weekly that dh brings home from the office!)

have a most excellent shabbos!

debbie

btw, your letter to the insurance folks had me convinced - i'd drive that portable o2 thingy to your house right away!

This is beautiful. I especially loved the line, "Go on home and find the gift that's waiting there for you."

You make your own bread, too?? Where do you find the time?
