Oopsie!

I missed it!

Scroll down and look on the right sidebar of my blog at the counter

I reached 100,000 hits!

This is cause for celebration!

Okay, I guess this calls for a party.

Let's make another

"Ask Sara a Question" party

And a giveaway. What to give away?

Hmmm....

OK here's the plan.

I have a $10 "gift check"-a rebate check of sorts, that can be used at about 100 different stores. It can be used at movie theaters, or at bookstores for books, or for toys, and on and on. All the places it can be used are listed on the back of the check.

And in honor of my 100,000 blog hits, I'm giving it away.

All you need to do is leave me a comment.

I'll close the contest when I want to-hey, it's my blog, right???

Have fun!

Hi- i check in to your blog some times, and i really enjoy it. I figure no one commented yet so I will.
What's an ask Sara a Question party? Just ask a question?
Okay- Which of your triplets is the most reserved/bookish type? (if any)
Another- what was your dream job when you were younger?

Hi Aliza!
If you know my kids IRL you know that they are NOT reserved!!!! They will talk your ear off about anything and everything! But if I had to say which one, I think it would be Elisha. He's the most clowny of the three, but he hides his "true" self quite a bit.

And when I was a kid I wanted to be an architect. My mom and grandma even set up a pen pal (before the days of email!) for me with a woman who was an architect. I used to mail her my "plans" - she was very nice to me and pretended that they were real :)

I've got one! How many Kelloggs coupons will you have left after giving away one to some other question-asker?

Do I have to answer that, David?

Wow - everyone's coming out of the woodwork for $10. You should do this more often. Congratulations on the 100,000 hits, that's quite impressive. And now for my question...How did you manage with newborn triplets and Dovi?

Here's my question. Where the heck have you been since December 9th??

Chaviva-
I had a night nurse 4 nights a week, as well as a mother and mil in town who were very helpful-as well as many, many wonderful friends and family who came to help me with feedings. Miriam (yes, the one who comments here!) was Dovi's 1:1 at school and she wonderfully drove him to school. The babies (now I'm sure this will shock you) were on a strict schedule-they are at 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm, and 2 am. And they were very, very goo and followed it nicely.
I also got meals for the first few weeks after they were born-but got back to cooking for my family quite quickly. I was adament that I wanted to keep our life as "normal" as possible-oh-and I took a 6 month maternity leave :)

Shosh-
I won't even respond.

Shira and Miriam-
I've been organizing and cleaning my house like a lunatic since I finished school-so I've been AWOL. So sorry!!! Nothing more than that :)

I remember Miriam (and Dovi for that matter) from when she 1:1'd him at MK. I was a consultant there at the time and spent much time in that room due to some... um... difficulties they were having in that room.

Hi! I couldn't pass up the free offer AND I want to know how you have time to get everything done?? I just don't have enough hours in the day!!!!! Tell me what time is good for me to call you, I need some serious coupon training!!

DESJ and Company said...

Lisa-
Tonight was the first time I couponed in almost 2 weeks!
I hit Dominicks, Jewel, Target, and Walgreens-it was lovely!
I will say that I'm rather efficient-I can get a lot done in a short time-but people also do what is a priority for them-one person might spend 2 hours a night playing games on Facebook, I will go couponing!
I'm home all day tomorrow-call me!

Hi Chaviva- didn't realize that was you!

Boy, you must be really excited about your milestone- you do realize that you are GIVING AWAY stuff, and not getting it, right?
(That is not my "ask Sara question though..)
My real question is:
How is it that someone who fell asleep in Rabbi R's halachah classes EVERY day for an entire year have the energy to TRAIN FOR A MARATHON!!!!?????
(Now if that is not the winning question, I don't know what is!)
Must be all that running around couponing that is keeping you in shape :)

Hope your house is in shape now because we missed hearing from you!

My question for you is, do you have any more "crafty" projects you've done recently, to share? I'm off for the next 10 days (hurray!!!), and would like some creativity outlet.

elisha said...

that is a HUGE number of hits, but not suprising considering your blog is great!!! i've been kinda slow with the couponging lately, haven't seen such great deals. My question-how do you get a gift check that is good for so many stores? is there another way to get one without winning it on your blog?

do you think team lifeline would accept a"gift check"-rebate check of sorts?
